Aeon Labs Key Fob Remote (DSA22)

Hello Matt
I've recently purchased the news key fob also and I have the same problem. Zwave event are only battery level update or any command.
The settings of the device after inclusion doesn't allow me to set scene mode.
My question is did you do the testings and if yes does the device can work with a specific action or do I have to wait the next indigo update (in this case if you can give me approx. schedule)

Hi Patrice,
I am not Matt, but I can try to give an answer anyway. I am not 100% sure what you are asking, but I think you will find what you are looking for I you select trigger on Z-Wave event and Z-Wave command received.

If you do this, you can select type of event to trigger on. Button 1 on/off etc. You can then select the appropriate action.

Sorry if it was not clear.
The problem is that I don't have in the pull down menu other choice than battery level update and any command. The problem is the same explained by David just before.
I think the device is not recognized in indigo to be able to trigger a scene. I did the inclusion several times after resetting the key fob with same result.
When I push the key fob buttons, I can see in the log the scene and number received, but no possibility to trigger the event.

You probably have newer versions of the module, which have a different model ID then what is in Indigo. Perform the Define/Sync again, then copy/paste the Event Log results into a reply post and we'll get the model IDs added. We've already added David's model ID but without your Event Log snippet I don't know if that is the same model ID you have.

Just add that previous key fob is working perfect and recognized like "key fob DSA22" (I have one I have purchased 1 year ago) but the new ones I've bought 1 week ago are recognized like "portable remote controller"

We've added the model ID for your key fob to Indigo, so hopefully it will work in the next build. If you would like to try it before we release it then contact us (contact form on our home page) and we'll provide you with a pre-release version of it.

It works fine for me (gen5), the distance is MUCH better (it is using z-wave plus to talk with UZB1 stick?).

Could you please add parameter 250 settings (scene mode) to the device configuration? Manual adding works, not very convenient

Indigo does have parameter 250 UI ("Enable scene mode for all buttons"). If you aren't seeing it, then Re-Define/Sync it then copy/paste the Event Log results into a reply for me.

We have that model ID already added to an internal build of the Z-Wave library. If you'd like to try it out now then email us.

Matt, 4-1 works with a new lib, but Gen5 KeyFob still don't have parameter 250 available in the menu. Not a big deal, changing manually and it works.

BTW new keyfob has different wakeup procedure (need to push "learn" hole for a 3 seconds)
