Xandem

Has anybody tried the Xandem presence detection devices? Or heard any reviews on how well they work? Kind of expensive but if they work as advertised it be great to know where people are in the house.

Re: Xandem

They seem cool but how will they work in Indigo without native support? Is there an API?

Re: Xandem

There is an API, but it's cloud based and that kills it for me. I can handle cloud based weather updates, but presence? No way.

Then again, I'm on DSL and have .8 Mbps upload speed.

SmartThings refugee, so happy to be on Indigo. Monterey on a base M1 Mini w/Harmony Hub, Hue, DomoPad, Dynamic URL, Device Extensions, HomeKitLink, Grafana, Plex, uniFAP, Fantastic Weather, Nanoleaf, LED Simple Effects, Bond Home, Camect.

Re: Xandem

I am reading the API doc differently. It use RESTful API but to the Xandem gateway which I think is the master box and sits inside your network. You do not have to purchase the web access.
