Proximity - will it work with T3 & Salling clicker?

I installed the Salling Clicker program for my Palm T3. I've got it working, and I can use the Devices and the Actions scripts that are provided with Indigo. However I can't seem to get the proximity feature to work.

I've made sure "update indigo variables" is checked in the Phone Events panel of the Salling Clicker pref pane. It does seem to create a clicker proximity variable in my variable list in Indigo. However, this variable never seems to change from true.

Is it possible that the proximity will work only with a cell phone and not a Palm Pilot?

Thanks!

Re: Proximity - will it work with T3 & Salling clicker?

Hi John,

According to Jonas Salling, "No, it does not (support proximity). The Palms are not designed to be on 24/7, so proximity sensing doesn't make sense."

Regards,
Matt
