Security Spy Move Applescript

Having trouble getting the correct syntax to execute a SS move command.

The Applescript dictionary shows this:

ptz v : Execute a PTZ command
ptz left/right/up/down/zoomin/zoomout/home/upleft/upright/downleft/downright/preset1/preset2/preset3/preset4/preset5/preset6/preset7/preset8/savepreset1/savepreset2/savepreset3/savepreset4/savepreset5/savepreset6/savepreset7/savepreset8 : The movement type
[camera number integer] : The camera number
[camera name text] : The camera name

Really appreciate any help in arriving at a working script to send a move to camera number 4, named Front.

Thanks,

Carl

Re: Security Spy Move Applescript

Daft question but why not just use the SecuritySpy plugin then just setup a device/actions for it?

Computer says no.

Re: Security Spy Move Applescript

Tried that and found it wouldn't move the camera in increments.
The move command would send the cam moving continuously
in whatever direction til it reached its travel limit.

In SS the PTZ commands work as I would like so I thought why not
try sending the command a different way, bypassing the plugin.
The plugin presets work fine it's just the PTZ that's a problem.

Edit: Got a script to work but has the same issue.

Thanks,

Carl
