HUE Start dimming command results in error

I just upgraded to the latest official release 1.8.7, and now when I have a trigger that uses the 'start dimming' command, the following error is displayed in the error log :

Code: Select all
Hue Lights Error                Error in plugin execution runConcurrentThread:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "plugin.py", line 337, in runConcurrentThread
AttributeError: 'DimmerDevice' object has no attribute 'pluginpros'

Hue Lights Error                plugin runConcurrentThread function returned or failed (will attempt again in 10 seconds)

Is this command not supported anymore ?

Re: HUE Start dimming command results in error

Will be fixed today.

[EDIT] was already fixed in v 1.9.14

There is a new version 1.10.14 available now, https://github.com/IndigoDomotics/Hue-Lights-Indigo-plugin/releases/tag/v1.10.14
That can run under MAC OS 12.3.. AFTER indigo 2022 is released

!!! do not upgrade to MAC OS12.3 (Monterey) yet !!!!,

But this release should work fine with indigo 2021 and 2022 and older versions

Re: HUE Start dimming command results in error

Thanks Karl, but this is scaring me off.. with the bold font

Anyway, I was brave and tried the version you linked, and immediatly I see this pop up in red letters in the log :

Code: Select all
Hue Lights Error                Error in plugin execution ExecuteAction:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "plugin.py", line 2943, in actionControlDimmerRelay
File "plugin.py", line 7750, in doOnOff
NameError: global name 'logChanges' is not defined

and also this :

Code: Select all
Hue Lights Error                Error in plugin execution ExecuteAction:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "plugin.py", line 2952, in actionControlDimmerRelay
File "plugin.py", line 7796, in doOnOff
NameError: global name 'logChanges' is not defined

I'm on Indigo 2021.1 and 10.15.7

Re: HUE Start dimming command results in error

NOTE: Indigo 2022.1 has solved the compatibility issue with macOS Monterey 12.3+.
