All these Mac OS 10.7 issues (not iOS 5 related problems) should be resolved in the installers (both 4.1.17 and 5 beta 7) that we'll post later this evening. Let us know if you continue to see them after installing the update.

Not technically a bug, but I have been trying to get Serialport X to work in 10.7 (as a replacement for Serial Bridge) and I cannot read from my serial device. I got the software to work fine in 10.6 so I have to believe that my prolific driver does not work in 10.7. Any thoughts? I could not find any information on the web about compatibility or incompatibility. Using a PL2303 USB Serial adaptor.

Actually, I found it. Here is the link for Lion Prolific USB to Serial:

I think I may have found another bug.

When I create a new variable, I can't seem to edit the value.

Quick workaround is to duplicate an existing variable and rename it. Then I can edit the value.

That's a known issue - when you create the new variable and type the name just hit the tab key and it'll go to the value edit field.

I have had problems starting the indigo server at restart which I circumvented by starting the client each time and then once it had started the server I quit the client. But now when I quit the client the server also quits. Is there a way to keep the server running without the client?

Here is the console log:

Have you upgraded to the Lion compatible version(s) of Indigo? 4.1.17 if you're using Indigo 4 or at least 5b7 (although 5b8 is the latest) if you're using Indigo 5.

Ok, shut down the server and client, then delete these files:

Code: Select all
~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.perceptiveautomation.IndigoServer2.plist
~/Library/Preferences/com.perceptiveautomation.indigo-client4.plist
~/Library/Preferences/Indigo Client Prefs.indiPref
~/Library/Preferences/Indigo Client Settings.indiPref
[all of the above are in the Library folder in your user folder]
/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 4/Preferences/Indigo Server Prefs.indiPref
/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 4/Preferences/Indigo Server Settings.indiPref

They should all be there with the possible exception of the first one. Reboot.

When you get rebooted, Indigo won't be started. Start up the client and in the "Start Local Server" dialog make sure you have the "Auto start Indigo Server on user login" option selected under "Start and Connect to Indigo Server on this computer" and start the server. Make sure you do this while logged in to the user account that will always be logged in during Indigo operation.

Jay,

Thanks, that appears to have fixed the problem.
