Indigo Domotics

Hello, X10 newbie here and I've installed an XPD3 dimmer light switch and I can turn on/off the lights using the remote control but using Indigo, I can only turn off the switch if the lights are already on. I cannot turn on the lights through Indigo.

Perhaps I've not correctly configured the device. The model selected is "Appliance Module" and I've tried a few of the other Model options without success.

Can anyone help suggest the correct settings?

Same question from another Indigo newbie who has an installed base of X10...

I have a number of existing X10 XPD3-IW "Master Dimmer Switches". There is no such type of device listed in Indigo's list of X10 devices.
What is the best match to the XPD3:
- Marmitek LW11 dimmer switch?
- ToggleLinc 2-way dimmer?
- SwitchLinc Plus dimmer?
- Generic Light switch?
- something else??
