Indigo an EZX10RF interface

This question has been touched on here:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2650&p=71604&hilit=EZX10RF#p71604

However the info seems a little out of date. Now there is a newr USB interface (2413U).

Is the EZX10RF any easier to use now? Can it be used in conjunction with the 2413U?

One solution offered on the thread above is that I plug the EZX10RF into the X10 interface, but the 2413U has no pass thru.

One answer is that I upgrade all my components to Insteon, but that would cost about $450 dollars as opposed to $120 for the interface.

Any advice or empirical knowledge would be great!

Cheers,
Bo

Re: Indigo an EZX10RF interface

The process is the same with the 2413U. You can plug them both into the same power strip since the 2413U doesn't have the pass-through.

My recommendation: If you are looking to get X10 RF commands (from X10 motion sensors, etc.) into Indigo then I recommend the W800. I have one and they work great, and they are very fast since it is all RF and needs no power line commands.

This was exactly what I was looking for! Thanks so much. Im saving $20 by ordering from machomestore as well!

Thanks for being an awesome X10/Insteon champion!
