Upgraded to Indigo 6.01 and Prism reflector access is broken

I just updated to 6.01 and now my access from outside my network is broken. Clicking on my reflector account at goprism.com says my reflector connection is currently down. Is anyone else experiencing this?

No other reported problems. What version did you upgrade from, and did you move Macs as well?

Lastly, what errors are shown in the Event Log window (copy/paste them)?

Thanks! I was using 6.0.0 before. I noticed that it created a new database when I upgraded. This is the Event Log error message:
Sep 2, 2013 9:09:10 AM
Error failed to create reflector connection: [Errno 1] Operation not permitted: '/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 6/Preferences/PrismReflector/id_rsa.pub'
Error reflector reconnection scheduled in 15 minutes

Thanks Matt!

Hi Chris,

It looks like something broke the file permissions on that prism reflector file. The Indigo installer tries to fix those problems, so the problem might have occurred after you installed Indigo 6.0.1. I've seen poorly written installers do this -- they will overwrite the file/folder permissions and/or owners incorrectly on tons of files in the /Library/ folder.

Anyhow, follow the steps outlined on this wiki article. Be sure and copy/paste the results (step #6) into a forum reply so we can see what was wrong.

Did what you suggested but still not success. This is what was posted after running the PermFixer:
-- Indigo Folder/File Permission Fixer --
Home User: root
ID User: root
Folder: /Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 6

ERROR: Home User owner should never be root. Try repairing file permissions with Disk Utility app first.

drwxrwxrwx@ 33 root wheel 1122 Sep 1 01:03 /Users/ctakim

Ran Disk Utility and it fixed a few permissions but still no luck.

Thanks!
Chris

Your OS X home user folder incorrectly has a folder owner of "root." That should never be the case. A rogue installer probably messed it up. From the Applications/Utilities/Terminal application run this command to fix it:

sudo chown ctakim:wheel /Users/ctakim

Note it will prompt you for your OS X user account password. Once it completes, re-run Indigo's Perm Fixer app, which should then be able to fix Indigo's permissions. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean the permissions are correct on your system now -- you might run into other problems with other applications.
