SMTP Errors

I have been getting this error quite frequently for the last ±month:
Code: Select all
Error                           no response from SMTP email server -- try enabling SSL on Email tab in the Preferences Dialog
  Error                           email re-send scheduled in 10 minutes


- My MAIL client prefs have never been set to SSL
- My Indigo prefs [5.1.8] have never been set to SSL

Any explanation?

It means that Indigo can't talk to the mail server you have configured. Often times this is because your ISP started blocking the standard SMTP port you have configured or your mail provider started using SSL. Check with both to see what the appropriate settings are.
