Trigger from log

I feel like this can probably be done, but I can't find anything about it, and I can't figure out a way to do it.

What I want to do is trigger an action when the Indigo Touch client connects to the server. I thought it would be possible to do if an action could be triggered by a specific event in the log file, but I can't figure out a way to do that.

Is it possible to trigger an action from an event in the log file?

Thanks.

Re: Trigger from log

Not at the moment, but it's on our feature request list for some future version.

Re: Trigger from log

I would also like to see this feature where the log is read. It seems that the log is a valuable tool, but it could be more useful if it could be proactive about a problem.

In my scenario, I have an EZFlora which irrigates the house on a schedule. The outlet tripped where the device was plugged was tripped for several weeks, so now I have a lot of dead plants! The schedule would run but the device did nothing. The log had plenty of useful info, as it had events like "valve ack failed", so a trigger based on a text search pattern would be great.

Re: Trigger from log

Something like the Error in Event Log event in the SQL Logger plugin?
