RFXCOM documentation is sorely lacking

Lacking clairvoyance or telepathic powers, I'm finding it hard to know how to configure the RFXCOM unit for reading temperature sensors. The "Quick Start" merely says to define the sensor with "Type set to Plugin, Plugin set to RFXCOM". Huh? The Wiki is no better.
