Re: Somfy rfxtrx433

Hello All!

I am new to the forum and I have a question regarding the RFXTRX433E plugin.

I created a SOMFY device (the only options on the device are ON & OFF, my roller shades react to those command as UP & Down). So far great, however, how can I send a "STOP" command with indigo, that way I can stop my shades, let's said, half way?

Thank you,

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

The stop button is in the menu, Plugins/RFXCOM/Stop Somfy

Re: Somfy rfxtrx433

Hello,

During the creation of SOMFY devices, it is requested to fill an house code and an unit code.
I assume the house code is the "address" of the blind, but what is the objective of the unit code. For instance, I put 1 for each device ...

The angle function is implemented and available in the new version:http://www.rjdekok.nl/downloads/RFXCOM.indigoPlugin.zip

Re: Somfy rfxtrx433

Problem solved.

When using somfy luxaflex shades you need to use up /down for the angel. (Note the angel+ / Angel -)

Thanks Robert.

Re: Somfy rfxtrx433

Trying to get Somfy blinds working with RFXCOM. As the installation was professionally done, not sure how/where to find the two required parameters asked in the plugin: housecode and unitcode. The units are working with the Somfy remote.

Would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

Re: Somfy rfxtrx433

You have to add the RFXtrx433E device as a new remote to the Somfy motor.
Select a random code and pair this device.

Re: Somfy rfxtrx433

Just got my rfxtrx433e and was easily able to configure my 3 solar screens to work from Indigo. So cool to be able to control them from my watch, Siri, Apple TV, etc. Thanks for this great plugin!!

Re: Somfy rfxtrx433

I am using this plugin with my somfy vertical blinds, and it is working good. There should however be an option to send a very small angle change signal to the blinds. The command is available from rfx manager... Could it be possible to add these commands also?
