temperature sensor from esic (clas ohlson)

Hello!

I have a temperature sensor from Esic that should work with the rfxcom transceiver.
However I am not able to detect the sensor in the log window in Indigo when I enable show unkown devices as error.

It is this sensor (text below copied from rfxcom.com):

UPM/Esic Clas Ohlson
(WT260,WT260H,WT440H,WT450,WT450H,WDS500,RG700)

If someone could help me to get this sensor to work with indigo it would be very much appreciated!

Hello,

I need data from the event log or from the RFXMngr to be able to implement the sensor.
If you don't get data in the event log you probably switched of the necessary protocol or the sensor is not compliant.
If you see data with the RFXMngr, you should also see it in the event log!

Hi, and thank you for your reply.

I am not seeing my sensor in the event log in indigo.
But I think it should work since I found it from the rfxcom.com internet page.
I have found a page were someone has done some work on this sensor:
http://ala-paavola.fi/jaakko/doku.php?id=wt450h

does this info help?
Since I have purchased the sensors I was hoping to get it to work with Indigo.
Thank you for your help!

I am getting a bit confused.
I think this is the same sensor that is listed in this post.

viewtopic.php?f=28&t=8450

The Plugin supports the following sensors:
‐ Temperature (devicetype 80 in the log):

o THR128/138,THC138
o THC238/268,THN132,THWR288,THRN122,THN122,AW129/131
o THWR800
o RTHN318
o La Crosse TX3, TX4, TX17
o TS15C
o THGN122/123, THGN132, THGR122/228/238/268 (includes humidity) o THGR810, THGN800 (includes humidity)
o RTGR328 (includes humidity)
o THGR328 (includes humidity)
o WTGR800 (includes humidity)
o THGR918, THGRN228, THGN500 (includes humidity)
o TFA TS34C, Cresta (includes humidity)
o WT450H (includes humidity)

‐ Humidity (devicetype 81 in the log):
o LaCrosse TX3

any ideas?

Hi,

From RFX I understood that there are maybe more problems with the UPM sensors.
RFX is waiting for a sensor to see what the problem is.
In the mean time, can you try your sensor with only the protocols Hideki/UPM en “undec on” enabled?
