The most recent versions of the RFXCOM Plugin are available here. Note the newest version requires Indigo 7+, but an older version is still available for Indigo 6.

- Includes LightWave appliance, dimmer and switch (receiver for a LW remote control)
- Include EMW100 appliance and dimmer
- A lot more and better information on the rain sensor (Thanks Bob, looks great)
- Better 'error' information when a 'unknown sensor' is received
- Some bug fixes

Robert, you should increment the version number whenever you release a new version - that way people can just double-click the new version in the Finder and Indigo will automatically install it rather than the user having to drag it into the right spot.

The extra rain data is great, thanks!

1. The name of the Plugin is changed. I'm sorry...
You have to disable the old Plugin, install the new Plugin, change the protocol of the devices which used the old Plugin and config and enable the new Plugin.
2. The names of some devices and sensors are changed so they are better recognizable by users.
3. The message for unknown devices are extended, so users know what kind of device to pick.
4. I Started to work on a webpage with the instructions an explanation of the Plugin.
5. The format of the 'LastUpdate' fields is changed, so the data can be parsed more easily.
6. Some unnecessary settings from the config screen are removed.

[EDIT- Jay] - made the url clickable ;)

Hello robert

Did you by any chance updated the plugin yesterday? I just got my rfx in but i cant select the serial port.

Therefor nothing can be done with it. Ialso cant find older version to check if its this one?

Do you have an idea or suggestion?

Tnx HenkJan

It sounds like you need to install the FTDI driver which is used by the RFX.

Thnx that did the job, now for a follow up question, how are the housecodes build up? Is that a singular letter or do i need to feel the full FFFFFFFF?

What kind of devices do you use?
An easy way to find out is if you use a remote control you can see in the event log how the house code and unit code should be formatted.

Each KlikAanKlikUit (also valid for Chacon, HomeEasy, NEXA...) can be paired with up to 6 remotes. Some units up to 3, check the user manual of the unit.
A device created in Indigo can be seen as 1 remote.

So you can select a device address in the plug-in, put the KAKU module in learning mode, transmit an ON command and the Indigo device is paired with the KAKU.

How to switch on/off/dim all units in a room with only one command:
It is also possible to create a 2nd device in Indigo, pair all KAKU's you want to control with this command and you are able to control all KAKU's with only one command.

To pair a unit put the unit in learning mode and transmit an ON command.
If a unit does not accept a pair command the number of remotes (max 6) has been reached in the unit.

To un-pair a remote from a unit: put the unit in learning mode and transmit an OFF command using the remote you want to un-pair.

To remove all remotes from a unit: press and keep the learning button for about 10 seconds until the LED on the unit starts flashing. Release the button and press it again. All remotes will be removed from the KAKU.
