RFXcom and Mertik control

I just installed the plugin and are now trying to configure it to make my fireplace remotely operated

I have a G6R-H4TB remote device so the option is selected. It also asks for a Unicode but I have no idea where to find this
If I leave it blank (000000) I get a device with the option on or off but it should also be possible to select a percentage (eg 50%)

In the remote there is a sticker with the code 003109 followed by a small07. Would the first number be the unit code?

I think I pulled the Unicode off the code detected by RFXmgr. I cant remember whether it appeared in the RFXcom plugin log.

The RFXmgr is a windows program I believe? I don't own any windows systems anymore...
Is there another way to determine?

As far as I know the Mertik control is send only, so it wont show up when to press your remote buttons. I'll have to see if my remote has a sticker on like yours an whether it bears any resemblance to the hex code.

I got the code by using RFXmng and reading the original remote. I assume I have to enter the 1 FC5B code in Indigo as Unitcode? I am 1 figure 0 short when I compare the code to the format suggestion in Indigo. Would this be a problem (I am unable to test it now due to the distance between the PC an fire place)

so my code in RFXmngr = 0x3E5AF
what worked for me was Address 03EFAF

so in your case try 01FC5B
