RFXCOM Device ID changes

Hi

Thanks for RFX Plugin - in all working well.

Do have issue though where periodically one of the Oregon Scientific - temp/humd devices would stop updating and I get a unknown device ID= in the log from rfxcom plugin.

I then manage to figure out what device has changed its ID - update in the device settings to the new ID and all works well for a few days - before it changes back.

Any thoughts why these devices are changing IDs?

They lose power just for a second then when they restart they come up with a new number. Same as if you replace the battery. The problem might be a bad metal strip that connects to the battery.

[edit] a bit contact spray on the metal strips might help

But it happens to all the temp devices (not just one) and have found if restart rfx plugin - problem goes away and picks up and updates the devices (without changing IDs)

Will continue to investigate further,
