Somfy blinds angle

Hi,
Thanks for a great plugin. It is a vital part of my HA system.
I am working on adding a new component. Somfy controlled vertical blinds. According to the rfxcom support the angle of the blinds can be controlled from the rfxcom device. Is it possible to add this angle command to the plugin? I have the E version of the rfxcom device, so I only need support for the angle control to get this to work.

Somfy verticals are implemented but not tested in the new version. http://www.rjdekok.nl/downloads/RFXCOM.indigoPlugin.zip

Works much better, but just fully opens or closes the binds depending on whether you press on / off

Re: Somfy blinds angle

Hi,
I have now recieved my new Luxaflex vertical blinds. I am having some issues with the angle commands. I have tried to operate the blinds from the RFX MGR and have better success with that software. I am missing some of the commands that is available in the RFX MGR. Is it possible to add some of the functions that is shown in the image below?

regards

Re: Somfy blinds angle

Some command should not be added.

The Somfy venetian motor can operate in US or European mode. Note that motors in Europe can be configured in US mode!
For the Venetian blinds a selection should be made in the plug-in for a US or European mode. Or configure the motor in the correct mode.

Re: Somfy blinds angle

Both type of angle commands would be very useful, since my blinds is not responding to the one that is the plugin now. If the "MY" button also was there it would be perfect.

Re: Somfy blinds angle

I have been playing a bit more with it. I think my blinds went into a protect mode the last time I tried to play a lot with it. I am able to get it to work good now. The only thing I miss is the stop and stop 5 seconds. This is to be able to program the "my" position.

But good news that it works so well!

Re: Somfy blinds angle

Somfy Tilt motors can be configured in 2 modes, US or European.
To toggle between modes, press the Reset/ Prog button 2 s. Repeat until the LED, according to the desired configuration, lights up. Store by pressing 2 s.

To control Venetian Blinds in US mode:
- up/down (transmit < 0.5 seconds): open or close
- up/down (transmit > 2seconds): change angle

To control Venetian Blinds in Europe mode:
- up/down (transmit < 0.5 seconds): change angle
- up/down (transmit > 2seconds): open or close

However, the best solution would be to select the US/European mode in the plug-in.
