RFXtrx433 and Indigo 6 and Home Easy doorbell

Hi all...

Newbie here with Indigo 6 and the RFXtrx433 interface. I'm trying to set up the Home Easy HE306 doorbell so that Indigo can detect/react to it.

I've installed the RFXCOM plugin, enabled debugging however I don't see anything in the logs like a module address in the logs after pressing the button on the doorbell, thinking that maybe is there something that I overlooked?

Re: RFXtrx433 and Indigo 6 and Home Easy doorbell

I have just tried to set up this door bell but can't find the address when the button is pressed, I have enabled debugging but nothing is shown in the event log,

I am using the extended rfxcom and plugin

Any thoughts?

may be you need to press the door bell button.. then lock at the log file, if noting gets received, it might be out of range.

I have pressed the door bell right by the RFXCOM transceiver so its not that.

Do you see any activity on the RFXtrx433 led's? If not then it might be that the doorbell is running on a different frequency than the RFXtrx433 is set to receive?

Enable the ARC protocol in the RFXtrx if the push button has an address code wheel (A-P).
Enable the AC protocol in the RFXtrx if the push button doesn't have an address code wheel but transmits the HomeEasy protocol for learning mode devices.

Thanks, I tried that and still no joy, when I press the door bel button the lights on the RFXCOM don't do anything, its as if it can't even see the doorbell.

Are you able to try with RFXmngr on a Windows system?

Enable only ARC and undec on.
If nothing received try with only AC and undec on.

Enable only ARC.
