In the plugin's Settings dialog, check the debug checkbox. Reload the plugin, then wait for everything to be quiet and trigger the motion. Paste the entire Indigo log since the reload here (or send it to me as a PM).

I also plan to modify the cat flap with a magnetic switch to monitor when the cat leaves/returns but trying to get her to use the damned thing first is more important...
The "Set Overlay" action appears to be broken with SS 3.0.2.
Perry The Cynic wrote:It looks like overlay parameter setting is entirely broken in SS 3. Use your web browser to tell your SecuritySpy to change the overlay text on a camera; when I do that, nothing happens. Ditto on size and position changes. How about on your version? (It works from SecuritySpy's internal UI, of course. I'm talking about the Camera Settings web page.)

Humm, appears to work here thru the SS web interface, but I am now on SS 3.0.3, let me know how else I can help.
Perry The Cynic wrote:It turns out there was both a bug in SecuritySpy 3.0.2, and I needed to change the plugin to accommodate a change in SecuritySpy 3. Cynical SecuritySpy 1.4.1 (just posted) solves the issue, as long as you use at least SecuritySpy 3.0.3.
