Hello.

I have recently noticed a problem with security spy. Every evening at midnight (00:00) all my cameras changes status from active to passive. I dont know if its because of Indigo plugin or Security spy mac app.

It dosent change the continuous capture state, only motion state.
I have no schedule at midnight that should change state on my cameras.
I haven't set up schedule in the Security spy mac app.

Any suggestion on why this is happening?

Your not only in this. I noticed it to, but for me only 4 camera's (out of 8 ) are put into non-active every night at 0:00..

I thought it was only me and put a schedule to put all camera's back into active at 10 seconds after midnight. but have not checked the real reason why this happens.

Agreed, that would make sense as a diagnostic measure.

That being said, I use the plugin extensively and don't have that problem. Most of my "active" enabling is controlled by SS anyway as I use motion detection over constant recording.

Last night I did disable the cynical security spy plugin in indigo. All the cameras changing state at midnight. So, its not indigo who is causing the problem.

One thing you could try is to use multiple recording files instead of a single recording for the day, perhaps the switch from one day to the next is causing the recording to stop. Have you tried using a schedule instead of 24/7 recording? It can still be 24/7 but, then again, maybe something in 24/7 (or in a schedule if that is how you are set up already) is the issue.

I havent set up schedule in security cam mac app. Everything is controlled by indigo. Its only recording when im sleeping and when im not home
