Just noticed one's not POE.

I was planning on rewiring my LAN over Easter weekend; glad I didn't get further than lifting router onto a shelf made of two empty sweet tubs and a 2015 CPC catalogue now!

I'll throw my unabashed plug in here too - Security Camera. It will work with any camera that provides a URL pointing to a jpg image.

I am currently using a combination of Amcrest, Linksys, a cheap web cam, and a couple off-brand cameras.

My plugin does recording, motion sensing, and provides several different version of the image to create more versatile control pages. All is done within Indigo.

Does anyone know if the h.264 Foscam cameras provide JPG urls that Security Camera plugin can use? None of the Foscam cameras on Vesternet are MJPEG so I can't use iCamPro.

I'm pretty sure the Foscam cameras do support JPG. Check out the documentation for your model at http://www.ispyconnect.com/sources.aspx

Different Computers is using Foscam C1, C3, and HD with the Security Camera plugin. I am using an Amcrest camera which is very similar to Foscam.

You can also go to http://www.ispyconnect.com/sources.aspx - there is a long list of cameras and what output types they support.

FYI, for the Foscam HD cameras, you need to follow this post:

It works great!

Seems to work quite well : :D

I have found this page very useful for setting up access to a very broad range of cameras.
