Does this require Indigo 7?

Re: Enphase Envoy-S Solar Power Plugin (with Panel Monitorin

I'm having some troubles with the setup, the plugin is installed, it is enabled. But when I "create a new device" the envoy plugin isn't listed in the drop-down. I've tried to re-install the plugin and verified it is enabled. What am I missing?

Hmm not sure - away at moment so difficult to troubleshoot for you.

What is displayed in the dropdown plugin list? (Because it should be there with about, change logging options etc)

Re: Enphase Envoy-S Solar Power Plugin (with Panel Monitorin

Is this the list you're asking about?

Should have looked at the logs earlier...

Reloading plugin "Enphase Envoy Plugin 0.1.3"
Starting plugin "Enphase Envoy Plugin 0.1.3" (pid 2198)
Enphase Envoy Plugin Error Error in plugin execution InitializeMain:

Enphase Envoy-S Solar Power Plugin (with Panel Monitoring)

Hi
Yep - pretty sure requests is included in indigo 7
?are you running Indigo 6

ifindStuff has instructions on adding requests module here (don't need other ones)
viewtopic.php?f=181&t=14572

Not sure whether plugin is indigo6 compatible even after requests install - but can have a look when back.
Presumed there wouldn't be much point given 7 better in all aspects

Re: Enphase Envoy-S Solar Power Plugin (with Panel Monitorin

Hi Glenn

The plugin seems to work mostly [ Great job BTW] , but i don't think I'm getting all the data.
The Envoy-S device always shows offline. Device added, and properly generates my 43 panels.
First time I added it it showed online, but all zeroes. There was no sun , and by the morning my envoy's webpage was showing a page not found [enphase local web server error] . I had to flip the circuits on my enphase to reboot it.

In Indigo main screen, the only "device details" shown (envoy & panels) is last update for all, and not those custom states you show. I don't have the importing power column you have, but the STATE column for the panels appears to be showing current production. Control pages let me display some additional data, including Envoy-S "power production", but everything else from envoy-S is 0 or false/offline.

I can login to the enphase local webserver, and any of those json files you or others online mention.
Indigo 6, manually installed REQUESTS
Envoy-S from sunRun installed few months ago.

Thanks, took a couple of re-reads to follow.

On balance I suspect this may be the difference between indigo6 and indigo7 in the code. Indigo 7 was relatively new - but I believe I used a few 7 only functions which probably responsible for some offline/0 data.

- Have you scrolled up to see custom states? (Moving the bar)
I can't explain how you may have a different number of custom states.

Some screenshots of what you are experiencing - plus/minus the debug log (toggle enable debugging) would probably help.
I wasn't planning on having a indigo 6 and a indigo 7 version - but happy to revisit that though if needed.

Re: Enphase Envoy-S Solar Power Plugin (with Panel Monitorin

Regarding Indigo 6, When I first installed the plugin I got the same error as user CWF, and followed the instructions to manually install REQUEST . I'll have to upgrade anyway so I'll do that sooner rather than later.

I attached some logs, and a screenshot showing the states. "Saving Values errors:list index out of range" is the recurring error.

Re: Enphase Envoy-S Solar Power Plugin (with Panel Monitorin

Thanks for the logs. - could you double check they are on the highest debug log setting? - Doesn't seem to include every debug I would expect.

Will have a look a the value-out of range and post a fix - hopefully tonight my time

But:
If you click the bar - just above "Solar-Panels (Enphase Envoy-S)" and move upwards - does this expose the custom states?
(They should be there.)

Thanks - double check your logging settings - (make sure on the most verbose)
The log seems to missing a few expected debug lines.
