Release 7.1.0 Beta

Plugin can now do auto-creation of Indigo Devices to match all defined Lutron devices.

Plugin now supports multiple main repeaters. Phantom buttons on each repeater can be used.

GHPU (GitHub Plugin Updater) has been removed.

------

This is BETA. Be sure you have a good backup of your Indigo database.

There's a menu command to kick off the device creation process. There's a popup list for organizing the created devices. The plugin will create folders per room (area in Lutron speak), or per device type. Or it'll put them all in the root (DEVICES) folder. The last option is not recommended.

There's a checkbox to enable creating Keypad Button and Phantom button devices for buttons that have not been programmed with any actions.

There's also a checkbox for "simulation" mode, where the plugin will log what it's doing, but not actually create any devices. Very useful for testing.

Reading the XML file from the repeater can take a while. Be patient.

Sample data for additional devices is needed. See the other thread in this forum.

Re: Release 7.1.0 Beta

Beta 5 now available.

https://github.com/FlyingDiver/Indigo-r ... g/7.1.0-b5

Added support for HVAC and Timeclock Events.

Should be feature complete for automatic device creation, pending more testing. Especially HVAC.

Re: Release 7.1.0 Beta

Beta 6 released, all auto-create naming issues resolved (I hope).

https://github.com/FlyingDiver/Indigo-r ... g/7.1.0-b6

Still to be done:

Fix outstanding issues with shutdown and re-connecting.
Change triggers and actions to use device lists rather than entering specific integration and component numbers.

Re: Release 7.1.0 Beta

Beta 7 released. Getting very close to a final release.

All auto-creation working.
Trigger editing by device selection working.
Reconnection on error working (I think).

https://github.com/FlyingDiver/Indigo-r ... g/7.1.0-b7

Things still to do:

Tweak device naming so that devices/events/etc are sorted reasonably in pop-up lists.

Re: Release 7.1.0 Beta

Beta 8 posted.

https://github.com/FlyingDiver/Indigo-r ... g/7.1.0-b8

Made some changes to better support Caséta or RRA2 systems that haven't updated devices with repeater information.

This release needs testing on systems that haven't done device creation or any device updates from the repeater. Any regressions or loss of functionality?

Re: Release 7.1.0 Beta

Beta 10 posted (Beta 9 was withdrawn).

Linked devices are implemented in this release. This allows for Lutron keypad buttons to control non-Lutron devices (Insteon or Z-Wave outlets or switches). Each press of the Lutron button toggles the controlled device. The keypad LED represents the on/off state of the controlled device.

Re: Release 7.1.0 Beta

Beta 11 posted.

https://github.com/FlyingDiver/Indigo-r ... /7.1.0-b11

Changed linking behavior to use an internally managed list rather than Indigo Devices. The plugin will migrate any existing devices to the internal list and delete the devices.

Pico buttons are now supported. Since Picos don't have LEDs, any changes in the linked (controlling) device will not be reflected on the Pico.

Re: Release 7.1.0 Beta

Beta 12 posted.

https://github.com/FlyingDiver/Indigo-r ... /7.1.0-b12

This release has added double and triple click detection to the button triggers. Choose the number of clicks in the config dialog for the keypad button event.

All triggers will fire for a multi-click. If a keypad button is pressed twice within the timeout period (currently set to 1 second), both single-click and double click triggers will fire (in that order). All three will fire for a triple-click.

The timeout is between keypresses, not for the whole sequence. So a triple click needs to be completed in less than 2 seconds.
