What is spytech phone, and why is it on my alexa plugin port

  What is spytechphone, and why do my searches bring up arabic web sites ?

While researching port issue problems with my Alexa plugin, I saw this spytechphone was associated with the plugin.

Re: What is spytech phone, and why is it on my alexa plugin

Port 8192 is listed in /etc/services as spytechphone, and lsof is just substituting the port # with that label. (nothing inherently nefarious with that port number, it's just one of a multitude of publicly available ports)

You can open Activity Monitor, find process 64950 (or whatever IndigoPluginHost process id is using it), and then do a get info and switch to the Open Files and Ports tab to see the full path to the plugin - that will tell you what plugin it is.
