Hi

Believe I have deleted all old versions - and ran sudo to remove indigo-homebridge.

But when running - getting this in long ever second or so?

Thanks

Edit:

Found a few running homebridge Pids in the activity monitor -force closed them all.
Delete the plugin and prefs
Deleted the ~/.homebridge folder
And restart server.

Seems to be up.
and those Webserver errors - have only appeared once on loading and not since.

Connected - and adding devices... all seems good.

Thanks

Re: Having some issues

Just for clarification, there are TWO Homebridge systems. One is the original Webdeck Homebrigde-Indigo, which is what you are referring to and something that HBB is only writing the configuration for and you have the latest version of HBB that has HB built in. If you are using HBB you SHOULD be using the built in server for Indigo and not the ~/.homebridge.

That being said, the repeating messages are logs that Homebridge is throwing each time it starts up ("could not find device "Tamper"). It looks like you probably have some Fibraro Motion sensors and when you create them Indigo will auto create a Tamper version of the device that has a slash in it - that slash is why you get the message, it's unsupported in HB.

The fact that you are getting the message repeatedly means that HB is starting, stopping, starting, stopping and it's because of an error. You should look at the log file to see what that error is. If you can't figure out what the issue is then post your config and the log file here so we can take a look. You can find the log file in your Console app and it's call Homebridge.

My Modest Contributions to Indigo:

HomeKit Bridge | Device Extensions | Security Manager | LCD Creator | Room-O-Matic | Smart Dimmer | Scene Toggle | Powermiser | Homebridge Buddy

Re: Having some issues

Thanks for the reply

Removing all older, and the service startup code seem to fix the start/stop - multiple Webserver issues.
As you say they only appear now on startup.

Trying to get Aliases going - as it seems to me the easiest way to set up is to have nothing selected in server config, yet just have multiple Aliases - enabling naming to be ideal/and changed easily.
Having some issues with Virtual Devices (which are most of my preferred control options)

Re-reading your release notes it seems that VD aren't support as yet with Aliases? Is this the case?
With my VD Aliases (that don't support state via variable) Siri correctly triggers the Aliases - but this doesn't result in the VD AG being run.

Re: Having some issues

I'll see if I can add virtual devices to aliases, but you can use wrappers for now.
