Indigo Touch (iPhone App) 1.0.1 is coming soon [SEE POST BELOW ABOUT RELEASE DELAY], and Indigo 4.0 (Client/Server) beta 7 is available now please BUT DO NOT UPGRADE EITHER OF THEM until you read this post (download link at the bottom).
We are awaiting Apple's approval for Indigo Touch 1.0.1 to go live on the iTunes App store, and we've run into a bit of a chicken or the egg problem. Because of some enhancements and database structure changes, Indigo Tough 1.0.1 only works with Indigo 4.0 beta 6+. Furthermore, Indigo Touch 1.0.0 only works with beta 5. Therefore you need to upgrade both Indigo Touch to 1.0.1 and Indigo to 4.0 beta 7 at the same time, or you'll temporarily (until you upgrade both) not be able to use Indigo Touch.
We are a bit concerned about this because Apple makes upgrading apps a bit too easy. We aren't able to present the user with any type of compatibility upgrade warning nor can we warn via email because Apple doesn't provide us email adddresses of Touch customers, so it is possible some folks will upgrade to Indigo Touch 1.0.1 while away from home and not be able to upgrade Indigo to beta 7 at that time.
So please resist the temptation to upgrade Indigo 1.0.1 on your iPhone / iPod touch until you are at home and also have the ability to download and install beta 7 of Indigo 4.0. Likewise, do not upgrade to Indigo 4.0.0 beta 7 until Indigo Touch is available on the iTunes Store. Hopefully, it will be approved in the next couple of days. In the future we'll try to come up with a better mechanism for all this.
When you are positive you are ready to upgrade Indigo 4.0 beta 7, meaning both Apple has approved of Indigo 1.0.1 and you are ready to install it, then you can download Indigo 4.0 beta 7.
