Mac OS X 10.10.3 Beta Issue

We have a couple of reports of Indigo crashing when trying to show its Start Local Server dialog using the betas of Mac OS 10.10.3. The crashes are occurring inside the Mac OS's new force touch handling code. As reported in media outlets there are some bugs in the beta of Mac OS 10.10.3 in that area:

And in a somewhat serious bug, Apple said that build should not be installed on the new MacBook Pro models — the very computers developers would need to test Force Touch support.

We will be filing a bug report with Apple about the crash reported to us. In general, we do not recommend (nor do we support) running Indigo – or any critical software – using beta versions of Mac OS or iOS.

We have worked around this crash in Indigo 6.0.21.
