Yosemite Public Beta

We encourage everyone to NOT install any kind of beta OS releases on Macs (or iOS devices) that you depend on to run Indigo. Beta releases are inherently unstable with broken components. We don't support beta releases just for this reason - it's like hitting a moving target.

There is a great post on MacWorld about betas that everyone considering installing a beta should read (particularly #4 on their list).

Re: Yosemite Public Beta

BTW, we know there's an issue (at least with the early betas) where there is a broken/incomplete Python install. This causes all sorts of problems for Indigo. We will address when Yosemite final ships if it's still an issue.

Re: Yosemite Public Beta

We have reflectors working with Yosemite in the latest Indigo version. We still do not recommend using Yosemite for critical applications/services, including running Indigo, but for users that are testing Yosemite the latest Indigo version should work better. We are continuing to QA and resolve Yosemite compatibility issues as we find them.

Unlike the latest version of Indigo 6, Indigo 5 is not Yosemite compatible. Reflectors will not work and there may be other errors / issues. Users that upgrade to Yosemite will need to upgrade to Indigo 6 for full functionality to continue to work.
