Re: uniFi-WiFI-AP: discussions

It only seems to be with Unifi. I stopped the plugin right after making that post and checked the event log now a few hours later. No other errors with SQL until I restarted the Unifi Plugin.

uniFi-WiFI-AP: discussions

What versions do you have.
Indigo
Sql
OS X
Unifi

This is not an error from UniFi but from indigo that it can not update the dB.

Could you may be delete THAT UniFi device and see if it gets better.

Re: uniFi-WiFI-AP: discussions

Indigo 7.0.3
SQL Logger 2.0.5
OSX 10.11...6
Unifi Controller 5.4.14 USG 4.3.39.4971515. Switch 3.7.51.6230 AP 3.7.5.4969. I kept this rolled back because of the last time I updated it I had an issue with it not playing nice with ITach

uniFi-WiFI-AP: discussions

The error is only with one device? UniFi-28-...
Delete that one.

If that fixes it you still have an issue with your sql dB
Once you have a corrupt sql dB you would need to fix it.
1. sql dump
2. Sql import

That should fix it. Indigo utilities has an option to do it. It worked for me 2 out 3 times

After I switched to Postgres a year ago I had no sql issues any more.

Re: uniFi-WiFI-AP: discussions

I may have fixed it. I disabled the support for the switch and USG in the Unifi plugin. Then disabled SQL Logger. Deleted all the devices the USG and switch made. The enabled the SQL Logger and it seems to have deleted the tables on. startup. no errors so far

Re: uniFi-WiFI-AP: discussions

But your database is still corrupt. The tables are still there. You need to "squeeze" them out = dump and reimport

This is not a problem of UniFi
I strongly suggest you repair it. It will likely come back later and then you might have a bigger mess.

Re: uniFi-WiFI-AP: discussions

After fix which might work or not.
If you recreate a device it will create a new table in the database. Each device has a new id. So if you switch on the UniFi switch part it will create a brand new table for each device.
No correlation to the old table.

Re: uniFi-WiFI-AP: discussions

After the Fix finished I started SQL Logger again and got this. I don't see a device with 515195515 in my devices.

Enabling plugin "SQL Logger 2.0.5"
Starting plugin "SQL Logger 2.0.5" (pid 80614)
Started plugin "SQL Logger 2.0.5"
SQL Logger connected to /Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 7/Logs/indigo_history.sqlite
SQL Logger searching for unused device and variable tables
SQL Logger deleting table device_history_515195515
SQL Logger Error exception trying to delete table device_history_515195515
SQL Logger Error database disk image is malformed
SQL Logger Error DROP TABLE device_history_515195515;
SQL Logger deleting table device_history_8460731
SQL Logger deleting table device_history_1794393707
SQL Logger search complete
SQL Logger updating all device tables

A Few Minutes later this. These are the only two so far... What should I do next?

SQL Logger Error exception trying to insert row into table device_history_660249165 ("Kitchen Leak Temperature")
SQL Logger Error database disk image is malformed
SQL Logger Error INSERT INTO device_history_660249165 ("sensorvalue", "sensorvalue_ui") VALUES (%s, %s);

Re: uniFi-WiFI-AP: discussions

After you delete a device it is not visible any more in the database. That's normal

But it looks as if the fix did not work
I guess your dB is screwed up. Only thing I know is to delete the dB and start over again.

Then switch on dB backup in indigo utilities. Then you always have a back up that is 2 hours old.

Re: uniFi-WiFI-AP: discussions

May I suggest to switch to Postgres

Very stable, fast multi user capable
Try the app version . Just download and run
Indigo will find it.
Though you need to make it load after boot - an option in setup.

Karl,

I am trying to reboot my Unifi-APs via a schedule once a week. However, getting the following error:

uniFiAP Error Error in plugin execution ExecuteAction:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "plugin.py", line 570, in buttonConfirmrebootCALLBACK
TypeError: 'PluginAction' object has no attribute '__getitem__'

version of plugin: 7.4.39

Re: uniFi-WiFI-AP: discussions

Could you try this one, you need to recreate the action after upgrade

https://www.dropbox.com/s/z2czuch9un8vfnv/uniFiAP-v-7-4-40.zip?dl=1

As I am out of town, I am doing this on my laptop, so it is not tested..

Re: uniFi-WiFI-AP: discussions

Karl,

Sorry, still getting and error:

uniFiAP Error Error in plugin execution ExecuteAction:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "plugin.py", line 570, in buttonConfirmrebootCALLBACKaction
TypeError: buttonConfirmrebootCALLBACK() got an unexpected keyword argument 'valuesDict'

And no worries, this can wait until you get back.
