NEST Thermostat Object Model

Hi does anyone have a link to details of the NEST object model?
I'm trying (in a python script) to read the nest home/eco/away state and can't seem to find the right attribute name
thanks

Re: NEST Thermostat Object Model

I've got this sort of working to toggle between home / away
no idea why though

Code: Select all
xdev = indigo.devices[1708595453] # "Dining Room Thermostat"
xvar = indigo.variables[1425688819] # "NEST_Mode"
xval = indigo.kHvacMode

if xdev.hvacMode == True:
   indigo.actionGroup.execute(270353184)
elif xdev.hvacMode == "Away":
   indigo.actionGroup.execute(286235087)
elif xdev.hvacMode == "Auto-Away":
   indigo.actionGroup.execute(286235087)
elif xdev.hvacMode == "eco":
   indigo.actionGroup.execute(286235087)
else:
   indigo.actionGroup.execute(286235087)

indigo.variable.updateValue(xvar, str(xdev.hvacMode))
indigo.server.log("Heat Mode: " + str(xdev.hvacMode))
