Filled transparent curves

Hi.

Am i missing something?

Im trying to use the filled curves for energy plotting, but they are not transparent. I'm using matplot.

Re: Filled transparent curves

You have several options
Best option: Sequence of lines. Do the histogram/ filled curves first then the other lines
You can also select transparent in the top part of the plot. But I need to check what that exactly does.

Re: Filled transparent curves

one of my test files, not a beauty, but .
the same plot with transparent curves at 0 / 50% transparency; the filled curve is line #5 so plotted at last,

you could better use the previously mentioned option to plot that "line" first and the otters on top.

hope that helps

Re: Filled transparent curves

ahh, didn't notice the option on the plot setup. Assumed it would be on the setup lines step. :)
working great.

Thanks for the help and for a great plugin.

Re: Filled transparent curves

yes one of them is done manually at a fixed spot:
MATPLOT does not offer line keys for filled curves .. it is actually an object with two lines and the area in-between is filled -one is at y=ymin.

if you have 2 filled curves .. you are out of luck.. if you have one, you could change the line # of the normal one. that would place it somewhere else...

this is a fudge to show at least something as line key

but you could use filled histograms, they work fine.

sorry.

Karl

but I see you have figured out how to put numbers into the plot..(min/max, day etc ..) looks nice..
