Moving To Indigo

Hi, I am currently using indigo in Trial coming from Home Genie. So far i have found Indigo to work well for my needs.
I have all my devices connected and functioning except one. It is a DHS-LIT-SWW-DHS-02. It is a Double in Wall Switch Relay.
Indigo detects it but it is setting both channels to on when turned on and both channels off when turned off. I appears that it is not
working correctly due to the multi channel. Any assistance would be great. I have included the info from the device:

Re: Moving To Indigo

Hello and welcome. It may very well be that Indigo does not directly support this device (yet.) Indigo has a model where the authors create "device definitions" in order to support various devices. These device definitions are added as updates to the Indigo software are rolled out. There's no guarantee that a device definition will become available for this device (it's a supply and demand thing), but Matt and Jay will certainly note the device you mentioned, and may ask you to submit some more information about it.

Good luck with Indigo, I'm sure you'll love it.

I came here to drink milk and kick ass....and I've just finished my milk.

Re: Moving To Indigo

Just a note: devices that meet the general Z-Wave specs should work without specific model definitions. Unfortunately, Z-Wave doesn't really specify how multi-button controllers (scenes, multiple loads, etc) should work, so they all work somewhat differently. Annoying, but it means that we have to do a little extra work for each of these types of devices. We'll add this one to the long list of devices to look into for the next major Indigo release.

Re: Moving To Indigo

Thanks for the response. I have found http://www.indigodomo.com/devices/70/ with a similar dhs device. Is multi channel supported in indigo or was this a device specific issue. As i only have one of these i would replace it with one that is supported (multi channel device). Thanks again Great stable reliable product.

Re: Moving To Indigo

Indigo has the ability to send multi-channel commands, but the device definitions for multi-channel devices have to be custom defined by us to work. That is, they don't work out-of-the-box with Indigo and require some development work on our end.

DHS In-Wall Double Switch ... not working correctly.

Any news around support for this Device (DHS-LIT-SWW-DHS-02).
I am having the same issues as the OP.

When Indigo communicates with the device (Relay 1), it controls both Relays together (for both on and off control)
When Indigo communicates with Relay 2, then it correctly controls Relay 2 only.

Are there plans to have this device supported for the next Indigo release?

Thanks.

Re: Moving To Indigo

Adding support for this is on the feature request list, but we aren't providing updates or time estimates as to when individual hardware models will be supported.

Re: Moving To Indigo

I am still having the same issues with this device (DHS-LIT-SWW-DHS-02) ... Indigo controls both relay channels when operating on Relay 1.
I have upgraded to Indigo 7, and did a fresh install of everything (reset Z-Stick) ... but still have the issue with this device? ... not sure why?

Re: Moving To Indigo

We still need to create a custom device definition for that module (it didn't make it into 7.0). I believe I know how it needs to be defined, so I'm hopeful it make it into an upcoming minor release.
