It has synced. :D :D :D

Many thanks for all your help and encouragement. Now I'll do some reading to see how to trigger the light when the door is opened..

I have a door sensor turning on and off the laundry room light. :D :D

That's enough for tonight. Tomorrow I tackle my Lutron Caseta lights which have a smart bridge.

Once you've got your head around these basics that you've now got, things will really start clicking into place. Every now and then I get a mind expansion feeling as I play with some feature, and suddenly a whole new level of capability and possibility opens up.

For your Caseta stuff, I think you need this plugin. viewtopic.php?f=134&t=10806&start=180&hilit=Caseta

But I'm unsure, as I don't use it and have no Lutron stuff in my set up.

Welcome from Vera. It took me a few weeks to get my head round the change in logic for triggering actions etc from Vera but love it now.

It's starting to become interesting. Not sure how to research question, except asking. Current question: I have added the ZWave lock manager plugin, but not sure of getting started with reading the current pins. I will also need to set new pin codes, and then I get to explore all the things the plugin can accomplish.

To get the current PINs, create a new Action Group. Add a "Get User PIN" action (under Z-Wave Lock Manager actions) for each user. Start with user 1 and add additional actions for however many user PINs you have in use. Then execute the action group and read the PINs from the Indigo log.

To set new PINs, it's basically the same thing. Put the actions in an Action group.

What documentation do I read to get better with these actions?

Only do one at a time. I think you're confusing the lock trying to send commands to get a bunch at once.

Are you sure this lock works with the Plugin?

What lock have you got?

I’m the lock manager author so I’ll keep an eye on replies.

@howartp , do you still have a pin manager in the works or is it released now?

Basic pin features are published.

The advanced Manager I’ve referred to is still under construction.
