Re: Sonos - The Beginning

Sorted!!! I'd upgraded a while back and hadn't noticed the new setting to choose an Event Processor. Found that whilst enabling debugging.

All great now, thanks!

False alarm - restarting the plugin has got it working again. Sorry.

Interesting. I was having an issue with my Hue Bridge complaining about an unknown hostname. I had encountered this before, and a reboot of the server (The entire computer) fixed it. So I did this, and upon the fresh start, the Sonos plugin Toggle issue you had was present. It would start the Play 1, but not stop/pause the player. Thanks to your note, a road of the plugin worked.

Re: Sonos - The Beginning

Seems to happen reasonably often. Not sure why. Reload is always the answer but it's a bit frustrating.

You are right. The problem was the Indigo device declaration which holds the original IP address. Now I reserved several IP addresses in my router for some devices, sonos speakers among them.

Thanks a lot!

Re: Sonos - The Beginning

I set my first announcement through an action group, which plays a chime (mp3 file) and then says the actual announcement. It works ok (even when it takes very long between the chime and playing the TTS audio). The problem is that after the announcement ends, my sonos speakers don't resume playing TV output.

The configuration I have in this zone is a Playbar and 2 Play:1 set up in surround (5.0, not 5.1 since no SUB is present). The only device which is declared in Indigo is the Playbar (commander).

How can I get the plugin to resume playing TV audio?

Re: Sonos - The Beginning

Are you running those two announcement actions concurrently? The plugin needs time to restore state after each announcement - and I'm guessing it does not complete before the second announcement action starts.

Re: Sonos - The Beginning

I was running them in the same action group. Now I deleted the chime and left the TTS alone, which is the only action of the group. When I run it, the result is the same: TV sound goes off, the announcement is played and the speaker keeps silent.
Here are the log entries:

Action Group Prueba Sonos 1
Sonos Announcement: Esto es una prueba, Volume: 10
Sonos remove zone from group: lg.so.sb
Sonos ZonePlayer: lg.so.sb, Stop
Sonos ZonePlayer: lg.so.sb, Current Volume: 43, New Volume: 10
Sonos Announcement Length: 2.052
Sonos ZonePlayer: lg.so.sb, Play
Sonos remove zone from group: lg.so.sb
Sonos ZonePlayer: lg.so.sb, Clear Queue

And these are with some debugging options enabled:

I found what was wrong: model was not selected.

Your plugging is terrific!

Awesome. I'm glad it's working. I think it is time to lock this thread. It was the first. Please start new threads for any issues or comments.
