Hi Nick,

Just upgraded to v0.8.0

Not loading. Here is the log. I have 8 zones, and have added all of them (in prior plugin versions) into Indigo. Each has a static IP, assigned by the router, based on MAC address of the Sonos unit.

Hi Nick - Experiencing the same error here with 0.8.0 and 10 zones. Restarting after a minute had no effect. Thanks as always for the great plugin and your help!

Re: Sonos - The Beginning

I posted v0.8.1 to the wiki. It addresses the startup issues. Thanks to all for downloading the newest version.

Re: Sonos - The Beginning

Hi again, Nick -

Downloaded and installed v0.8.1 a few minutes ago and I'm seeing what seems to be the same error:

Code: Select all
Sonos Error                     Error in plugin execution InitializeMain:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<string>", line 1, in <module>
File "plugin.py", line 19, in __init__
  File "/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 6/Plugins/Sonos.indigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/Sonos.py", line 127, in __init__
File "<string>", line 1, in bind
<class 'socket.error'>: (48, 'Address already in use')

This occurs even after stopping the Indigo server and restarting the machine. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Re: Sonos - The Beginning

Thanks for addressing it, Nick.

Installed 0.8.1, but still seeing error:

EDIT: Restarted the Indigo server, and the plugin is working. I have a few keypad buttons that trigger SONOS actions. Still seeing and error (but the trigger is doing what it's supposed to be doing)

Sonos Error SOAPSend warning: waiting for command execution [10.0.1.105:0]

Re: Sonos - The Beginning

Hi,
I am also seeing a error when I try to start the plugin:

24 Nov 2014 10:09:30
Reloading plugin "Sonos 0.8.1"
Starting plugin "Sonos 0.8.1" (pid 3487)
Sonos Subscribing on port: 9999
Sonos Error Error in plugin execution InitializeMain:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<string>", line 1, in <module>

File "/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 6/Plugins/Sonos.indigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/Sonos.py", line 127, in __init__
File "<string>", line 1, in bind
<class 'socket.error'>: (48, 'Address already in use')

Stopping plugin "Sonos 0.8.1" (pid 3487)
Stopped plugin "Sonos 0.8.1"
Error plugin "Sonos 0.8.1" (pid 3487) failed to start -- restarting in 20 seconds

Just let me know if there is anything I can do to help fault finding.

regards

Håvard

Looks like I have a python version issue. Been working perfectly on Yosemite with Python 2.6. In going to set up a treat system to work on this. Stay tuned...

Re: Sonos - The Beginning

I added an additional config item for each ZonePlayer device. You need to click on the properties for each and select your ZonePlayer model.

Nick,

For an older ZP 100 Sonos (which has an integrated amp), should the "Model:" in the "Configure Sonos Zone Player" dialogue box be identified as "CONNECT: AMP" or as "Zone Player"?

In the Sonos desktop application, Sonos -> About My Sonos System, identifies my newer Sonos unit as "CONNECT:AMP" as shown in your list, but older units are identified as "ZP100" or "ZP80"
