I'll check that as soon as I can. Of course at the moment, it's updating statuses perfectly and has been for the last half hour.

OK, as soon as I sent that it tripped up.

The plugin now shows the ZP_CurrentTrack URL as
x-sonos-spotify:spotify%3atrack%3a5pPPEnTGUHrMPu6PAplZuH?sid=9&flags=8224&sn=1

While the script shows:
x-sonos-spotify:spotify%3atrack%3a1YZ4ulk8gxyJvlrq1UGNLm?sid=9&flags=8224&sn=1

So no, they are not the same.

I suspect the track that is playing when it broke has unicode characters in it? If it advances to a track that does not or you play something from your Sonos App that does not, it will go back to updating? That is what I am able to replicate on my end, so I have something to work with.

Will spend a little time on it .. but it is Turkey day here so not sure I will have enough time to figure it out. However, at least I have some idea of what has been going on.

Don't let yourself be taken away from the turkey!

It does seem to manage to kick itself back into life, from time to time. I haven't seen a direct relationship with unicode characters, but I could be missing something. I am now seeing these errors in the log from time to time

I do a check every 5 seconds to see if the subscription to events has failed (usually due to a network issue). The protocol is very sensitive. I'd be interested in the timing of these messages. I started working on the unicode issues.

It got stuck going from My Sliver Lining to Tender. Skipping to the next track after that does not seem to get it working again.

After my previous last post, I just left the playlist playing and had no issues at all. I then restarted it to see if it would get stuck again where it had before, and this time it hasn't... It's all updating as it should for now.
