Insert pause in IVONA TTS message

I hope I'm not spamming up the forums too much, but hopefully I'm only raising useful topics.

I'm experimenting with the Group Announcement MP3 function via IVONA TTS.

This is my current message text:

...where the variables are headlines scraped from an RSS feed.

Even with the full stop marks, there's not much pause between headlines. Is it possible to insert a pause somehow?
I tried using SSML markup, but it just reads the markup text.

The next release (v0.8.33) - (no later than tomorrow) will have additional options in the IVONA action to increase the sentence break timing as well as speech rate.
