Can anyone confirm if the OS 10.12 Sierra version of iTunes still contains the syncing via Wi-Fi feature? And does it work?

I usually use WiFi syncing on my iPad, and it seems to work fine. macOS 10.12.6 and iTunes 12.6.2.

I've got the latest version of iTunes installed on my MacBook Air and it sync's just fine with my iPhone 7+ and my iPad mini 4, both of which are running iOS 11.

Yes Wifi syncing is still included in iTunes 12.7. I'm looking at the checkbox for it in iTunes as we speak.

I upgraded my Mac from 10.10 [Yosemite] to 10.12 [Sierra]
- iTunes went from 12.5.4 to 12.6.1

I upgraded my iPhone 5s from 10.x to 11.4

and now I get this error on WiFi backup/sync. The sync seems to work, but the backup fails.


Q: By any chance does iOS11.4 need the newest iTunes 12.7 to sync?
Q: Is it OK to update iTunes 12.6 to 12.7 within OS 10.12 Sierra? [I believe 12.7 comes with 12.13 High Sierra]
Q: Are there any known Indigo issues with iTunes 12.7?
Q Can someone please verify that iTunes 12.7 still has 'Home Sharing' and 'sync via WiFi' features?

Yes, 11.4 requires 12.7.5 or later. HomeSharing and Sync via Wifi both work. I have not seen any issues with it and indigo.
