Sending a PM

Just tried to send a PM to a forum member here and I see it went directly to my Outbox, not to the Sent folder.
Haven't sent one since the site update so I'm not sure if it will eventually get sent or if I
have to do something else to get it to go?

Hey Carl - as far as I can tell, messages stay in the outbox until the recipient reads them.

I like it because it gives me the chance to make changes if the recipient hasn't read it yet.

Well I see today my PM has completely vanished. It's not showing
anywhere. Does that mean it was read and deleted or something?

Now that one I can't explain.

Correction, it just showed up in the sent folder. When it was in the outbox the folder had a 1 next to it
indicating something was in it. There is no number by the sent folder.
This will take some getting used to.
