Anyone working with the Bond Wi-Fi to RF bridge/hub?

Bond has a puck sized bridge that learns has and also learns RF codes for fans, fireplace, and other devices. They now also claim it will control Somfy shades.

They released a local lan public API and there have been some integrations done with various systems including a HomeBridge plug-in, and Hubitat.

Wondering if anyone is considering working on an Indigo plug-in?

This question came up quite a while ago, but at that point the API was not published. Hopefully someone will tackle this!

I’ll take a look at it. I need a remote alternative to the RFPlayer.

Someone posted before that they were just using cURL to send the Bond hub commands (locally on lan, via api) to turn things on and off, and adjust speeds, etc. A handful of Action Groups should cover all the various commands for your devices. Since the Bond doesn't really obtain any meaningful status, that's pretty much good enough. I set one up a couple months ago, when they launched the api, but haven't had time to integrate it with indigo. My experience so far is that it generally works, and their support is timely and competent.

Hate to admit it, been a while since I scripted cURL and Indigo. What's the best practice now with Indigo to run scripts? Still do something with AppleScript or with Python?
