Looking for a couple beta testers for the plugin for the RFPlayer (
http://www.rfplayer.com). Preferably, one in the US and one in Europe.
The US version uses 433MHz and 310/315MHz. The European version uses 433MHz and 868MHz.
Currently, I'm successfully using it with Oregon Scientific (433MHz), X10 RF (310MHz), and Visonic (315MHz). Note that in the US, X-10 and Visonic are somewhat exclusive to each other, since the unit cannot listen for 310MHz and 315MHz simultaneously. However, you could have the receiver listening on 315MHz for Visonic sensors and also transmit on 310MHz to send commands to an X-10 receiver (emulating a keypad, for instance).
I'm also successfully using the "Parrot" functionality to send captured RF sequences controlling my hurricane shutters. I have no idea who the manufacturer of the transmitter/receiver for the shutters is, but it's using the right frequency band so I can capture and resend the commands.
Please PM me with details of that devices you can test with. The list of supported protocols is at the link above. I will forward contact info to ZiBlue and they will arrange to get you a unit to test with.
