iTravel plugin for Indigo 6 released

After a lot of problem solving and effort, I finally worked out how to make cool images and display them in Indigo. In my most recent case, Train Departure Boards updated using realtime data. It took a lot of thinking but I'm really pleased with the result.

Here's an example of my control pages:

So I've released a new plugin to provide travel information for Indigo 6. The aim is to let iTravel adjust what Indigo is doing based on your travel plans or, if you're like me, disastrous travel plans. It's in a very early stage at the moment and is still UK Centric covering train travel but it will be extended in the coming weeks to the US, parts of Europe and Australia/NZ.

Thanks for your support

Mike

Clearly something wrong here already.. your screenshot shows South West Trains running on time.

ROTFL!

Sorry I should have used this one - more realistic although a delay of 90 mins might be closer the mark. Latest message - Delays due to sun blocking driver's eyes...

I can't remember hearing that particular one, but in the past the old British Rail was well known for what seemed like ridiculous excuses like leaves on the line or "the wrong kind of snow".

Mostly these days though it's just they're on strike for conductors fighting over who gets to open the doors on the train... seriously.
