New Hardware Priority

Forum rules

Questions about hardware that can be controlled by Indigo (but not through the interfaces and plugins listed). If Indigo doesn't support some bit of hardware you're interested in, and you don't find a 3rd Party Plugin for it, add it to this forum. Be sure to include links to as much information as you can find about it.

Note: adding it here does not mean we're going to add it - in fact it's possible one of our 3rd party developers may decide to write a plugin for it. We add hardware/features based on a lot of different factors beyond just having a request for it.

New Hardware Priority

Ever thought of providing a system where unsupported new hardware is given priority. E.g. instead of waiting in limbo for months to see whether(and when) my new device will be supported by indigodomo, I can opt to pay a price to give the hardware priority. That way the unsupported device will be made compatible with Indigo faster. You get some cash for your work and we are happy because our devices work.

Just a thought.

Re: New Hardware Priority

I believe that part of the work they've been doing in the fabled Indigo 7 is to make it easier for them to add new hardware definitions, so hopefully that'll make this a moot point.

(Also i believe i7 comes with a plugin that allows for eternal life... which we're gonna need if they take much longer ;) )

Computer says no.
