This could be an interesting product to integrate in Indigo.
Has Z-wave.

Unfortunately, native Z-Wave lock support isn't in the cards in the near-term though it might work with the Vera and the Vera Bridge plugin...

No additional information/ETA at this time. We know direct lock support is something many users want.

What little faith you have in them.. Why just for that they should ban you from this forum. Besides, 5000 miles for them is nothing.. They'd happily drive that to get to Costco!

Going back on topic though it would be nice to see native z-wave locks support, but as there doesn't seem to be any BS3621 locks available in the U.K. (Please please correct me if I'm wrong) I'm going to have to post a -1 request on this instead!

Ah, now... I may well be wrong here (I do have a tendency to forget details).. I though let bs3261 was a insurance requirement for locks on doors here. My doors also take the upvc type but won't work with that lock as it needs to have the lever pulled up to latch properly

You're right, BS3261 is a requirement for some/all insurers.

I was combining two scenarios - I resuited all the locks in one building at work, which are all Euro. Then at home I replaced all locks with keyed alike ABS ones, again all Euro.

But you're right, locking would need the handle to be up - mine just need it to have been-up, but I know neighbours have the ones which only lock whilst-up. Unlocking would work.

Ah good, i thought i was going mad. Mine needs to be pushed up and released to lock, but that still means they won't work for me other than unlocking and sensing if the door is locked or not.. which would be nice, but i want to be able to lock it Ideally i'd really love it to have a trigger for when the alarm is set it automatically locks the door. Perhaps one day, eh Jay? (Oh and when you do come over to do the install don't worry, we have a lovely spare room with an old mattress in it.. and the gruel we serve is second to none!

He had at least several involving Sir Mix-a-Lot, I suspect he counted those in the "useful" category.

And to both of you, what is with all the requirements and special instructions? <simpleAmerican>Don't locks just kind of turn one way to lock and the other to unlock?</simpleAmerican>
