What is this file?

I was looking via DaisyDisk to see what was taking up space on the Indigo server's SSD and this file is 7.9GB in size...what is it?

Code: Select all
/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 7/Logs/a.dump

My total folder size for /Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 7/ is 24.3GB now. The a.cp file is 6.2GB, as is the indigo_history.sqlite file in the /Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 7/Logs/ folder.

Just trying to clean things up...I've been contemplating moving everything to a different, newer & more powerful system...but it has a much smaller SSD. So I need to shed the excess size.

Thanks
Ross

I think it's from Karl's utility to repair the SQL lite db. Have you used that?

What is this file?

It’s a program script that does
1 copy SQLite current dB- dump takes too long with indigo active
2 create a dump of that file copy
3 go through dump file and fix issues
4 create Postgres file w empty indigo tables
5 convert sqldump to Postgres import
6 Import Postgres file to indigo tables

Not to get a little off topic, but you wrote a program that logs a.dump?

I heard that's going to be a feature in the next version of HealthKit.

I've heard it goes better when you use Google fiber. Then it really runs.

I came here to drink milk and kick ass....and I've just finished my milk.

Yea, that's true, you've never had a.dump as big as when you have a ton of fiber running through at lighting fast speeds.
