can not connect to indigos server

about every 6 hours or so I can not connect to the indigo server
I get this:
Error failed to create reflector connection: local server unreachable
Error check your Firewall and Network configurations and try restarting the server
Error reflector reconnection scheduled in 15 minutes

then I can not connect on the LOCAL network via wifi or ethernet to the indigo server..(touch or client)
An existing connection stays open, Even when I disconnect the indigo client and reconnect, but not on a new one (e.g. my laptop or iPhone) which where not connected before.

There is nothing in the system log file from indigo

After I restart the indigo server everything goes back to normal

anywhere I should look?

Karl

That is really bizarre. I'm not sure what is going on. Regarding this:
An existing connection stays open, Even when I disconnect the indigo client and reconnect, but not on a new one (e.g. my laptop or iPhone) which where not connected before.

So you can close the open (and working) Indigo client connection from another local Mac, and then that Mac can again reconnect successfully? But if you try to connect from a different Mac (or use Safari to connect to the Web server) it fails?

Karl - this may seem a little strange, but I was having some really odd behavior in the neighborhood of yours. I had some strange failures (mine were different than yours*) and was unable to connect with Indigo remotely. I was unable to connect even after restarting the Indigo server. Only a full reboot would solve the problem. It seems that I was able to trace the issue to a parasitic USB hub (the Z-Stick was NOT plugged into the hub). While I can't guarantee it was the hub; since pulling the hub, no errors.

* I was sometimes getting fatal memory errors that caused Indigo to shut down or causing no acks. In the instance of no acks--where the server was still running--I was unable to access it via an Indigo client, from Indigo Touch, or through Indigo Web.

From the Indigo Server Mac can you connect to the Indigo Web Server (say, via the Indigo Go->Browser Devices Page menu item)?

Can you connect to other services on that Mac when it is in the bad state (like file server)?

Dave. Yes on my old Mac Pro I have sometimes issues with USB. But only when I pull a cable out and put it back in.
If I don't touch all is fine.
