Hi,
I've been an Indigo user since I bought V2 back in 2007 and this is my first problem, so that's pretty good...
I've had V6 running on a dedicated Mac Mini for about 2 years. It runs 24/7 with a 2413U and has been flawless, until this past week when all of my timed events stopped working. Then we noticed that a bunch of light switches were responding really slowly or not at all (I think these are linked units). My EasyDAQ also stopped working.
The red "Powerlinc Modem" at the bottom left of the client screen is crossed out. Sometimes there is part of a green bar and other times, there is no green. This seems USB port related. I searched old posts which led me to do the following, none of which helped:
- Replaced the 2413U w a different 2413U and an old 2414U
- Moved 2414/13U out of the cabinet and powered them from a different circuit
- Replaced the USB cable
- Tried all USB ports on the Mac
- Reconfigured interface ports
- Upgraded to Indigo V7
- Reset the 2414/13Us many times
- Restarted Indigo server and the Mac multiple times
Here is a bit from my log file after restarting the server:
Mar 12, 2017, 9:37:13 PM
Interface Failure failed to establish connection with serial interface PowerLinc Modem on port usbserial-141
EasyDAQ Relay Card Error "EasyDAQ I/O" serial port open error: [Errno 2] could not open port /dev/cu.usbserial-147: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/dev/cu.usbserial-147'
EasyDAQ Relay Card Error make sure the USB virtual serial port driver (ex: FTDI driver) is installed and correct port is selected
EasyDAQ Relay Card Error silently retrying serial connection every 5 seconds
WebServer client connected
WebServer started on port 8176 -- digest authentication enabled
Started plugin "AD2USB Alarm Interface 1.5.3"
AD2USB Alarm Interface Plugin setup completed. Ready to open link to the ad2usb in Basic mode.
AD2USB Alarm Interface ad2usb opened for communication at /dev/cu.usbserial-A1018WVJ
It seems to see the AD2USB but I can't really know for sure as I've never gotten that configured properly.
Any idea as to what is going on?
Thanks very much,
Jeff
