[ANSWERED]Sometimes...it hangs

Hi all,

sometime Indigo Server hangs and what I find in Logs is:

Indigo Cocoa client authenticated (192.168.1.161)
Error (client) timeout waiting for server response for request GetScriptFileList

Do you have an idea?

Thanks
Marco

Re: Sometimes...it hangs

Are you running the HomebridgeBuddy plugin?

Is the server completely hung up (not doing anything) or does it appear to still be responding to events, schedules, etc?

Re: Sometimes...it hangs

I am running the latest Indigo 6.x release, so no Homebridge-Buddy plugin here

Re: Sometimes...it hangs

I have the feeling the problem comes from Sonos Plugin, because I see the first error (related to Sonos) and then everything hangs

Ah. See if Nick can help determine what the error means over in the Sonos forum and perhaps that will lead to a resolution...

If for "Server" you mean the completely MacMini where Indigo Server runs, then yes, the server completely hangs up; I cannot even connect using "Share Screen" from other macOS/iOS devices I have. No schedules are running, actions given via Siri (homebridge is installed, but not via plugin) not responding.
Then somehow it recovers but it is very slow and the Indigo Log is full of error (yesterday from Sonos plugin, as said).
At the moment I disabled the Sonos plugin to see what happens.

Thanks

Sorry, totally missed that. And I see that you have Homebridge installed as well. Interesting.

Anything since disabling the Sonos plugin?

When I said "server" I meant just the Indigo Server software.

Re: [ANSWERED]Sometimes...it hangs

Since I disabled Sonos everything fine, but Sonos ran for months without problems (except one time where I had the same problem but I did not link it to Sonos plugin)

Re: [ANSWERED]Sometimes...it hangs

If you have a spanning tree in your network Sonos will create real problems. Flooding with broadcasts routing fails ...
You can get that if you have sonos connected at more than one point to the network.

Re: [ANSWERED]Sometimes...it hangs

What do you mean with spanning tree?
I simply have the Play:1 connected to one of my SSIDs (DHCP, static address not working on Sonos)
