Indigo dies when a plugin is restarted

See http://www.perceptiveautomation.com/userforum/viewtopic.php?t=9823&p=74829#p74829

In that thread I discuss with Perry a problem where when I restart his Cynical Cache plugin, either via menu, or by Action, it kills the server. i.e. Indigo dies and my house becomes dumb again.

Perry feels this is more an Indigo issue than the plugin itself.

The logs show nothing at all with standard logging enabled.
Team Perceptive, can you please suggest additional logging I can turn on to diagnose.

Also, my house configuration is getting on a bit. Is there a means to ensure the file integrity is ok?
I really would not like to start from scratch.

Re: Indigo dies when a plugin is restarted

If the Indigo Server is crashing, then there should be crash reporter files for it here:

Code: Select all
~(your user folder)/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/

Presuming you find some for Indigo, send the most recent couple to us via email (indigo-support AT perceptiveautomation.com).

Re: Indigo dies when a plugin is restarted

Hi Martin,

I got your crash reports -- thanks.

Unfortunately, there was an internal problem with our 6.0.7 installer archive process and we aren't able to decode the information from the crash report to narrow down where it is crashing. I believe I have the problem fixed in the 6.0.8 installer (which we just posted), so can you upgrade, force it to crash again, and send us the 6.0.8 crash report?
